If your vehicle came equipped with HIDs from the factory, chances are the headlight assembly might be designed to accept a HID ballast. Remove your headlamps and examine them to see if there is a separate place designed into the housing for a ballast. Note that due to variances in size and design, the factory ballast may be sized differently than an aftermarket unit.
