Something's messed up with my car's high beams now that I have the HID low beams installed

Often times, this problem results in one of two occurrences. One possible result is that nothing happens at all when you switch from your HID low beams to your car's high beams. Another is that all of the headlights go out when you switch to your car's high beams. Either way, there's no reason to panic. This usually happens as a result of a connector polarity issue. Different car producers use different headlight configurations for high beams/low beams/ground/etc. You'll just need to take some pliers and remove the pins from the connector, which you'll then place into the factory harness in a new configuration. Remember the following color matchups to make things easier on you: ground (brown), low beam (blue), high beam (white). If everything's hooked up correctly now, just take a quick scan over the headlight housing, the headlight lens, and the positioning of the components to make sure everything's in good working shape and facing the right direction.
