Did I do something backwards? My car's new HIDs only work when the engine's off
On many higher-end and newer vehicles, computer chips regulate headlight function and cut off engine power to aftermarket components. You'll need to bypass the engine and directly connect the HIDs to the vehicle's battery in order to make them work.
